here is a picture of aly being true to her heritage. i guess it shouldn't really surprise me, but it does. it's a position that i only associate with korean kimchi-making grandmas. moreover, she can keep her balance quite well in this position. when i captured this pose, she was frozen for a good 5 minutes or so while watching baby einstein. and although she looked bored and in some kind of ape-like trance (after all, she was born in the year of the monkey), i later discovered she was actually leaving me a nice suprise in her diapers.
